Indigenous Student Support Teacher (Grade 8-12)

SD46 has a unique opportunity for a unique educator. The continuing, full-time assignment is Indigenous Education Support Teacher Grade 8 – 12, effective September 1, 2024. The anticipated schedule involves collaborating with teachers and supporting classrooms in assigned schools. Schedule is flexible but works within the framework of the program and according to the bell schedules of the schools assigned.

Math 8-12, Science 8-9

SD46 is looking for Secondary Math and Science Teachers to fill positions in the district and to add to our TTOC list. One position is a temporary full-time Math 8-12 and Science 8-10 position at Chatelech Secondary for the 2024-2025 school year to cover a secondment. There is another position at Pender Harbour Secondary for Math 8-10 and Biology 11-12.

We welcome applicants who are certified to teach in B.C. or who are in the process of obtaining their B.C. Teaching Certification, if certified outside of B.C.
The starting annual salary for TTOCs is between $59, 711 and $95, 136, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications, in accordance with the collective agreement.
