Facility Bookings

To Book our Facilities

The Board of Education of School District 46 – Sunshine Coast welcomes and encourages the use of school facilities by responsible community organizations and groups when not required for school purposes, in support of growth in community spirit, learning and health.

School District 46 facilities available for bookings include:

Gymnasiums
Classrooms
Libraries
Athletic Fields
Parking lots
Chatelech Secondary Theatre (Contact the school directly for booking this facility: T: 604-885-3216 | E: larduin@sd46.bc.ca)
Sechelt Early Years Centre Meeting Rooms (SEYC) (All INTERNAL booking requests for the SEYC, please contact Rachel Watson.)

Other outdoor spaces such as basketball courts, sport enclosures and playground spaces on school property cannot be booked. These amenities are available for community use outside of school hours.

PLEASE NOTE: Commercial coaching on school grounds, including courts, enclosures and covered areas is prohibited. Coaching is only allowed on school fields with the appropriate rental contract.

Hours of Availability

Elementary school facilities are available to rent after 5:00 pm during the school week.
Secondary school facilities are available after 7:00 pm during the school week.
All facilities are available to rent on weekends upon request. Additional charges will apply and approval is dependent on custodial coverage availability.
School facilities are NOT available during the day of any scheduled school holiday (including month of December, spring break, and summer break), any non-instructional day, or during exam weeks; with the exception of parking lots.
