Register Now! Grade 7 Leadership Program 2023

You’re in Grade 7. You’re getting ready for a big change to high school. But you still have this last year of elementary school and you want to make it count. So, what matters to you? Who are you? And what would make this year great?

This fall, SD46 is offering a new program, open to all Grade 7 students, where you can meet friends from other schools, learn about leadership, and try things together to make your year better. This free, weekly, after school program will take place at your future high school, and will bring together other Grade 7s who, like you, want to be a part of making friends and making change. Through outdoor activities, games, team challenges, and fun visits from some guest superstars, you’ll have the chance to learn more about yourself, each other, and the MANY ways we all have leadership to share.

Maybe the word ‘leadership’ feels like it doesn’t belong to you – like it’s too professional, too old, too boring, too much. Maybe it feels like it does. Maybe you don’t know. But if you care about someone or something, if you’ve ever wondered why things are the way they are and if they could be different, if you’ve ever looked for a group to connect with, take a chance and register for this program. It takes all kinds of people to make change and we know you’re one of them.
