Important Information for the 2026-27 School Year

School begins Wednesday, September 9th!

Dear Families,

We wish you a joy-filled and safe summer.

As we prepare for the 2026-27 school year, we wanted to provide some important dates and information to help with your planning.

The school year at a glance calendar is now available and can be viewed here: School District Calendar. Please take a moment to review it for key dates and holidays.

Tuesday, September 8th, is a Professional Development Day, and there will be no school for students. 

The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. On this day, schools will be in session for 2 hours and 15 minutes, starting approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes later than the regular start time. The regular bell schedules for the next school year can be found here: School Hours.

Additionally, Kindergarten students will begin their gradual entry program on Thursday, September 10th. The gradual entry calendar can be viewed here: Gradual Entry. Your child’s school will provide more detailed information regarding the Kindergarten schedule in late August.

Bussing Reminder:

All students who wish to use school bus transportation must now register each school year. Students registered for bussing in the previous school year are no longer automatically carried registered. Because routes are established based on registered riders over the summer months, it is important to register by the deadline. The deadline to register is July 15, 2026. Families are strongly encouraged to register as early as possible.
