Systems Technologist

School District 46 is looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic Systems Technologist to join our Technology team. This full-time (40.0 hours/week) position would start immediately to provide support throughout the entire district to install, repair and maintain the networks, computers, and audio-visual equipment in schools and other district facilities. The rate of pay for the position is currently between $37.57 and $37.82 per hour. Our District uses primarily Apple devices and software.
Please note that this position has specific work expectations during the natural breaks of the school year (Winter, Spring, and Summer) and time off during these periods is not guaranteed. A full job description can be found on our website under Employment.
The successful applicant must have completed a two-year Diploma of Technology program from an accredited institution, or have the equivalent in coursework and experience; a minimum of 3 years’ experience; AppleCare Technician training or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator training; a valid Class 5 BC driver’s license; and the physical capability to perform job duties. Low Energy Systems (LO) FSR certification would be an asset.

Therapy Coordinator

The Therapy Coordinator assists district therapists in the delivery of specialized intervention programs for students by coordinating, supporting and overseeing referrals between schools and the district therapy team. This includes preparing a variety of materials and supports for implementation of therapy interventions, programming augmentative communication devices, providing specific training to students. teachers, and support workers, and providing at home support for students with complex and diverse needs. The starting wage for the position is $35.12.
The successful applicant must have a Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma or have significant relevant coursework. A valid first aid certificate is required, and detailed knowledge of database management and spreadsheet programs would be considered an asset. Education Assistant On-Call

School District 46 is looking for supportive and qualified individuals to join our EA On-Call list for the 2025/2026 school year. A certificate from an accredited program is required, but applicants who are enrolled and have completed a majority of their coursework may be considered. A valid first aid certificate is required.
