SPARK! to Secondary 2024
Four dates and locations to choose from for all parents with children entering high school next year.
An opportunity for parents who have students transitioning to high school to come together to learn about this exciting and big change.
In-Person Interactive Class will cover:
– The changes in the adolescence brain
– Supporting healthy independence
– Keeping the lines of communication open
– Setting up healthy routines
– Parenting strategies for the teen years
Register for the Zoom Class as well, it will cover:
– Ideas for supporting the transition to high school
– Logistics of the school schedule, classes, lockers, cell phone policy etc.
– Ask a student: We will have Future Leader Students from each high school join us for a Q&A session
Parents/caregivers will also receive a list of recommended resources.
