SD46 Announces New Assistant Manager Of Facilities And Transportation
SUNSHINE COAST, BRITISH COLUMBIA – School District 46 (SD46) is pleased to announce the appointment of James Walton to the leadership role of assistant manager of facilities and transportation.
James has spent the last 10 years in leadership roles in transportation and local government and most recently as the manager of transit and fleet for the Sunshine Coast Regional District.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to utilize my years of leadership and customer service experience to lead a team of staff who are responsible for providing a safe learning environment for students, staff and families. My family and I have been living on the Sunshine Coast for the last four years and are so very thrilled that I am starting this new journey that will allow me to continue contributing to our beautiful community!” commented Mr. Walton.
Superintendent Kate Kerr commented, “We are thrilled to welcome James to our Leadership Team! The experience he brings to this role will be a wonderful addition to our district.”
