Experienced IT Leader Tarsem Nath Joins Sunshine Coast School District as Manager of Information Technology
SUNSHINE COAST, BRITISH COLUMBIA – The Sunshine Coast School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Tarsem Nath as the Manager of Information Technology, beginning September 1st. With over two decades of experience in the field of information technology, including leadership roles in multiple school districts, Tarsem brings a wealth of expertise to his new position.
Tarsem Nath began his career supporting education when he joined Surrey School District’s Information Management Systems Department, progressing from an onsite technician to roles such as Systems Applications Project Manager and Team Leader for Security and Operations, where he played a crucial role in maintaining the district’s tech infrastructure. Tarsem’s leadership abilities shone when he became the Manager of Information Technology for Abbotsford School District, overseeing strategic IT planning and creating a vibrant work environment. Most recently Tarsem held the role of Manager of Information Technology with the Langley School District, where he led a team of thirty staff, fostering a variety of efficient and cohesive teams.
Tarsem Nath’s career showcases a strong commitment to education and technology. As he assumes the position of Manager of Information Technology for the Sunshine Coast School District, he expresses his sincere dedication, saying, “Blending education and technology is not only my responsibility but my genuine passion. I eagerly anticipate building connections with the team and the SD46 community.”
