10 students recently completed the second Firefighter academy, demonstrating their skills gained over the two-week spring break training. Hosted by members of our local fire hall and supported by Chief Pike, students gained valuable job and life skills during this strenuous training session. Everyone was impressed by their commitment. Parents and students alike were also very grateful for the opportunity provided by the district and local fire detachments in putting on this event for the second year.
