Dear SD46 Learning Community:
All schools in School District 46 – Sunshine Coast will be OPEN today, Friday, January 12, 2024.
Our school bus providers have determined that the following bus routes will NOT be operating for morning pick-up due to the unsafe road conditions for large vehicles on side streets in these areas:
- Pender Harbour Area
- Halfmoon Bay
- Upper Roberts Creek
- Sandy Hook and Tuwanek
- Update! Also Kinnikinnick Elementary Buses
We will update you on the afternoon run for these routes.
All other routes are running.
Please remember that all students need to dress warmly and appropriately for winter weather conditions today. Please take care driving/walking.
Student safety is a shared responsibility, and caregivers may choose to make other arrangements if they don’t feel it is safe to travel to school. Please remember to contact your child’s school office if you decide to keep your child home from school.
