Seasoned IT Professional Prasan Naik Appointed as Manager of Information Technology at Sunshine Coast School District
SUNSHINE COAST, BRITISH COLUMBIA – The Sunshine Coast School District warmly welcomes Prasan Naik as the newly appointed Manager of Information Technology, effective May 6th.
Prasan Naik, an accomplished professional in the IT realm, demonstrates a profound dedication to the fields of education and technology. His extensive background, spanning over ten years in IT within the post-secondary education sector in Alberta, equips him with a robust array of skills in project management, server infrastructure oversight, ERP systems, and data analytics.
Stepping into his new role as the Manager of Information Technology at the Sunshine Coast School District, Prasan shares his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m eager to join the dynamic team at SD46, where I hope to both learn from my colleagues and contribute my expertise. My journey to SD46 comes from a desire to transition to the education sector in BC, especially on the scenic Sunshine Coast.”
Superintendent Kate Kerr expresses her anticipation of Prasan’s contributions, noting, “With Prasan’s comprehensive experience and leadership in IT, alongside his commitment to the advancement of education and technology, he is perfectly aligned with our district’s pursuit of innovative educational solutions for our students and staff.”
