Coast Reporter Annual School Feature with Board Chair and Superintendent Message

July 29, 2020 Dear Families of School District 46, I hope this finds you very well and enjoying the summer. The Ministry held a press conference today which outlined their direction to safely get back to in class learning this September. We have many details to develop in our district prior to the start of school

This weekend the grads for 2020 from all of our schools will be video taped at Elphinstone Secondary School following a specific schedule which has been shared with the grads. Grads do need to attend at their designated times. Please note also that this is not an event for the public. Each school’s video will be aired

Chef’s Table, an event started by Teacher Ann Allen at the Elphinstone Cafeteria, brings in a Chef who has graduated from the Pro Cook program to offer sittings to students and staff. The Chef is Daniel Bate who graduated from the Pro Cook program last year. He will be having 4 sittings this spring for Elphinstone students and staff and creating a new menu for each sitting. Daniel will also be attending the Skills Competition in Vancouver next week.
