Located a short 40minute ferry ride from the Vancouver area, our district is made up of unique communities encompassing 13 schools, providing educational excellence to a population of 3,400 students. Our region has a warm climate, gorgeous shoreline and breathtaking views of the Salish Sea and the coastal mountains.  As a resident of this vibrant community, you will have access to endless outdoor recreational opportunities, a vibrant arts scene, cultural activities and occasional glimpses of whales and bears as you travel to work.

How to Apply

Contractual obligations require union positions to be posted within the district prior to considering external applications.

Our district posts all external job postings and accepts applications through the Make A Future website.  Simply create an initial profile with School District 46 – Sunshine Coast on the Make A Future website and then upload current applicable documents. Once a profile has been created, follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Log into your Make A Future account.
  2. Make sure all your documents are current.
  3. Search for job postings and click the “apply” button.

A confirmation message and a confirmation email will ensure that the process has been completed successfully.
