November 14, 2023<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> TRUSTEE ELECTORAL AREA 1 (UPPER)<\/strong><\/p> \u00a0Comprised of Sunshine Coast Regional District Electoral Areas A and B, and sh\u00edsh\u00e1lh Nation Government District 6, 6A, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12A, 13, 14, 15, 16, <\/em>17, 18, 19, 19A, 20, 20A, 21, 21A, 22, 24, 25, 26 and 27.<\/em><\/p> \u00a0<\/p> REQUESTING A MAIL BALLOT PACKAGE:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> \u00a0<\/span>In order to obtain a mail ballot, you must submit the following information to the Chief Election Officer at School District No. 46 by 4:00 p.m. on <\/span>December 8, 2023:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> – pick up at the School Board Office at 494 South Fletcher Road, Gibsons and, if you wish, name of person you authorize to pick up package for you, OR<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> – regular letter mail through Canada Post to residential address, provided the request is received before November 24, 2023, OR<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> – regular letter mail through Canada Post to an alternate address that you provide when requesting the ballot package, provided the request is received before November 24, 2023, and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> \u00a0<\/span><\/p> \u00a0<\/strong>INSTRUCTIONS:\u00a0 REQUEST FOR MAIL BALLOT<\/strong><\/p> 1.<\/strong> Complete this application form<\/a>. A separate application is required for each person wishing to vote by mail. If your application is complete and you qualify to vote by mail ballot, a mail ballot package will be prepared and made available to you following the information included in this form. If we receive your application after November 24, 2023, the time may be insufficient for mailing and receipt of the ballot; in those cases, we will ask that you arrange to pick up the mail ballot package from the School Board Office.<\/p> 3.<\/strong> To be counted, your completed mail ballot must be received either at the School Board Office before 4:00 p.m. on December 8, 2023, or in person at either of the voting locations\u00a0 before 8:00 p.m. on December 9, 2023.
